Sometimes, ya just need to go BaNaNas
After being a healthy living/fitness blog whore for the past several months, I’ve finally taken the plunge and created my own blog, Beyond Bananas.
Why Beyond Bananas? Primarily for two reasons. First – I don’t think that I can go a day without incorporating bananas into my diet – be it in some oatmeal, with a slab of peanut butter, or frozen and covered in chocolate. Bananas are absolutely a food staples in my life! Technically speaking, I am not trying to look beyond bananas in my diet – I feel that they serve their purpose just fine and don’t plan on changing a thing!
However – life can sometimes be bananas – and I am using this blog to diary my daily struggles and triumphs as a way to release the bunches of craziness that sometimes arise. I have had my share of struggles with my health, body image, fitness routines, and self-esteem throughout my 25 years and feel that writing can sometimes be the best motivation to keep on keepin’ on!
Then again, it is also nice to get a little crazy and be carefree … go bananas if you may!
